The short version: We collect your email if you join our waitlist. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties beyond what's needed to run our service. When the app launches, we'll update this policy to reflect what data the app uses — and we'll notify you.
01 Who We Are
eyetinr is a travel planning application currently in development. We are building a mobile app for iOS and Android that helps users plan trip itineraries, manage outfits for travel, and create smart packing lists.
This Privacy Policy applies to our website at eyetinr.com (the "Site") and, when launched, the eyetinr mobile application (the "App"). Together, we refer to these as the "Service."

02 Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address — if you sign up for the waitlist on our Site, we collect your email address so we can notify you when the app launches.
- Messages you send — if you contact us via email (hello@eyetinr.com), we receive and store that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect basic server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used only for security and performance monitoring.
- Cookies — our Site does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We may add first-party analytics in the future, and will update this policy before doing so.
When the app launches, we will collect additional information necessary to provide the service (e.g., trip data you create, account credentials). We will update this policy prior to launch and inform you of those changes.
03 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send you a one-time notification when eyetinr launches (if you joined the waitlist)
- Respond to your support requests or questions
- Monitor and improve the security and performance of our Site
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not use your email address for marketing purposes beyond the single launch notification you signed up for. You can opt out of this notification at any time by emailing us at hello@eyetinr.com.
04 How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, our email delivery provider for sending the launch notification. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to process your data only as instructed by us.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of eyetinr or others.
05 Data Retention
We keep your email address on our waitlist until the app launches and the notification is sent, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.
Support correspondence is retained for up to two years for reference purposes, then deleted.
Server logs are typically retained by our hosting provider for up to 30 days.
06 Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdrawal of consent — remove yourself from the waitlist at any time
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

07 Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our Site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored email addresses is restricted to team members who need it to operate the waitlist.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We will notify you if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your personal data.
08 Children's Privacy
eyetinr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
09 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
